Long time no see, I was very busy.
Recently, I found a very promising bit of packaging and I decided to finally make some terrain.
Here is a step by step gallery of the project.
First, composition. Not a lot of work here, the packaging was already looking like a hangar, I simply cut half of it with a knife and glue it together with toothpicks and school glue.
Then 3 coat of glue+water+sand+paint.
Beads and skewers as details and stairs.
These beads to be precise.
Some dressing made with paper and corrugated cardboard. The re numbers and other posters are small scraps from a newspaper.
Drybrush, drybruks, drybrush.
And a brown wash later here we are.
The front door is only dry fit, so I can drive my rhino inside.
And I can use toy guns for firepower.
More dressing, made with toy parts.
And more newspaper scraps for posters.
And next?
I'm working on some toy soldiers stuff to add some obstacles on the table.
What do you think? I'm very happy with the result, and it took a little more than an afternoon.
